In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of navigation and maps applications on iOS in Romania showcased varying trends across the top five apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a glimpse into user engagement and growth.

Google Maps saw a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 9.2K and peaking at 10.4K in mid-January. Its weekly active users remained strong, beginning at 1.2M and experiencing a slight rise to reach around 1.27M by mid-March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic observed a more fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at 7.1K and dropping to around 4.6K by the end of January, before stabilizing around 5K. The app's active user base increased from 788K to over 893K by the end of March.

Google Earth maintained steady weekly downloads, hovering around 2.1K to 2.4K. The active user count saw a minor decline early in the quarter but rebounded to finish at approximately 37.9K.

vintrica Mobility had a modest download rate, beginning at 704 and decreasing to 295 by the end of March. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 1.7K and maintaining around 1.6K throughout the quarter.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS experienced gradual growth in downloads, beginning with 299 and increasing to 405 by mid-March. The app's revenue peaked at $441 in late March, with active users fluctuating slightly but stabilizing around 1K.
